Many of its safety products are developed in-house, based on real-world situations observed during site visits. These solutions are not theoretical concepts, but practical innovations shaped by experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

PipeStax® and RampLox®: safety-driven solutions for job sites

PipeStax® and RampLox® are part of Rain for Rent’s specialized safety product portfolio, designed to improve safety, organization, and efficiency on construction and industrial sites.

PipeStax® are modular pipe support blocks used to stabilize hoses and pipe installations. The concept originated during a site visit where unsafe, improvised support methods were observed. Wooden pallets, blocks, drums, rocks, and debris were commonly used to elevate hoses and pipes, creating safety risks and inefficiencies.

In response, Rain for Rent’s engineering team developed a modular, stackable support system that is clean, adjustable, and safe. PipeStax® eliminates the need for ad-hoc cribbing, reduces installation time, and helps prevent equipment damage. The cradling design prevents rolling, while the stackable system allows for easy height adjustment. Lightweight and easy to transport, PipeStax® can be anchored to various surfaces and reduces sagging, limiting stress on hoses and pipes.

Building on the same safety-first philosophy, RampLox® was developed as a modular ramp system to protect hoses, pipes, and cables while allowing safe crossings on busy job sites. Each RampLox® unit features multiple tunnels for different pipe sizes and adapts to uneven ground conditions. The system is quick to install and scalable in both length and width, making it suitable for high-traffic environments.

Both products are finished in high-visibility yellow, improving awareness and safety in dynamic site conditions where protection and efficiency are essential.

For the European market, Rain for Rent® International selected Dragon Plastics as its production partner for PipeStax® and RampLox®. Local production ensures consistent quality, shorter lead times, and reliable availability for European customers, while supporting Rain for Rent’s high standards for safety-focused products.
